What we process and why
Visiting the website
When you load a page, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver it securely: your IP address, date and time, the requested page, browser and device type, and the referring page. This is necessary to operate and protect the website (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are not used to identify you.
Contact form and email
If you use the contact form, we process the details you enter: your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, the service you are interested in and your message. We use them only to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a business relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The form does not store your data on the website; it is sent to our mailbox as an email. We keep enquiries as long as needed to handle them and for any follow-up business relationship, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Analytics (only with your consent)
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are viewed and whether the contact form is submitted. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes pseudonymous usage data and a shortened IP address. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time viaCookie settings in the footer. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
Service providers
We use these processors, bound by data processing agreements:
- Amazon Web Services (hosting, content delivery and the contact form backend).
- Resend (delivers the contact form submissions to our mailbox by email).
- Google (Google Workspace for our mailbox; Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, only with your consent).
Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where this applies, transfers are based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted;
- restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before;
- lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, email info@digitalsurance.co.
Changes
We update this policy when our website or the services we use change. The date above shows the latest version.
